Balad Al-Shumoukh Company for Communications and Internet, under the supervision of the General Company for Communications and Informatics, is pleased to announce a tender for selection of secondary contractors to operate optical cable cabins (FTTH) in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate for a period of two weeks from the date (3/6/2023) to the last day accepting bids (3/20/2023). (2) in the afternoon

With a total number of 72 cabins in each of the regions:
(The first Sadiq neighborhood 6 cabins, the second Sadiq neighborhood 6 cabins, the housing neighborhood 12 cabins, the retirees neighborhood 2 cabins, the Officers neighborhood 4 cabins, Al-Urouba neighborhood 8 cabins, the second Umm Al-Khail neighborhood 8 cabins, the third Umm Al-Khail neighborhood 3 cabins, the Al-Mudaraa neighborhood 1 Cabin, Al-Kafaat neighborhood 2 cabins, Al-Furat district 2 cabins, Shamiya district 6 cabins, Al-Hamza district 10 cabins, Al-Budair district 6 cabins)

Each cabin is for the zone at a rate of (576) lines to the subscribers according to the specifications and maps of the neighborhoods, including the contracting terms

1- The term of the contract is (30) months, renewable once, on the condition that the subcontractor converts the overhead cables into ground ones, according to the conditions of the General Telecommunications Company.

2- Preparing and extending the optical link (drop wire) to the subscriber, along with preparing, installing and connecting the optical access unit (ONT) to the subscriber in the area referred to him.

3- The subcontractor shall protect the access network from the cabin (FDT) to the final divisions (FAT), aerial and ground cables, and poles from any damage.

4- The contractor shall carry out the maintenance of the network from the main cabin to the subscriber, repair the beams in case of their occurrence, and ensure that the service is delivered to the subscriber with high quality.

5- The subcontractor shall submit a marketing plan with the procedures for marketing the FTTH system services, while adhering to the marketing plan.

6- The subcontractor activates and collects the monthly subscriptions.

7- A share for the subcontractor not exceeding the below percentages of the monthly revenues generated from the marketing of services from each cabin referred to it:

10% of incoming sales for up to 35% of cabin lines

12% of incoming marketing for up to 50% of cabin lines.

14% of incoming sales account for up to 80% of cabin lines.

16% of incoming sales account for up to 100% of cabin lines.

8- The subcontractor shall provide an insurance amount of (7) seven million dinars for each cabin as a guarantee that 35% of the cabin lines will be operational, and it will be effective within a period of three months. The insurance amount will be returned after three months in the event that the condition is fulfilled. the condition..

9- The contractor must achieve the operation of 50% of the booth lines, and it shall be effective within (15) fifteen months from the date of operation. In the event that the percentage is not achieved, the subcontractor shall be withdrawn from the booth.

10- The subcontractor shall provide evidence that he is qualified for this contract from a technical point of view and has experience in providing Internet services.

11- The subcontractor has the right to apply for a maximum of (7) cabins. For individuals

12- The subcontractor has the right to apply for a maximum of (30) cabins. For companies

13- The preference is for the subcontractor to be a resident of the same geographical area as the cabin area.

14- The prices of internet service packages cards for subscribers are subject to the pricing policy of the Ministry of Communications / General Company for Communications and Informatics.

15- Not to install any irregular FTTH systems.
